Inflation and an uncertain market are here and they’re growing

Over the past few months inflation has risen at an excessive rate. As of the time of the writing of this article, inflation has reached 5%. And it shows no sign of easing any time soon. Your business will need to adapt to the increased costs that inflation brings in order to have a chance. The costs of travel, hotels, gas, food, and daily necessities are exploding. And they impact you and your ability to operate (including employment costs). Learning to do more with less can make the difference between thriving or going out of business.

Business Growth is the minimum requirement to even remain where you are at

Making more money than last year might seem like a win. But if your growth does not exceed the rate of inflation, you aren’t really growing. You are only keeping your head above water. In order to create a business that builds wealth, you need a business that grows substantially while keeping a tight leash on your expenses. While decreasing how much you spend is important, cutting those expenses can only save you so much money. The only way to keep your business alive and growing is to bring in more customers through high quality marketing and outreach.

Waiting till you feel the pinch to start your marketing will put you behind

Right now you may be watching nervously as the economy begins to struggle. But if you wait until you really need more clients to start advertising, it will be too late. Your competitors will be ahead of you. And the amount of work you will need to get your marketing to the starting line will have grown too large to be tackled in the amount of time you have. At best, you will continue to struggle. At worst, you could go out of business.
